Garden on balcony
When the flowers are blooming in every garden and at every house, when colors are bright and aromas are touching, I catch myself that I am thinking about own garden. So, it is easy to do if someone likes gardening and is diligent enough in order to spend some spare hours with the flowers, vegetables and fruits.
But at the same time it seems to be very complicated. First of all, every second person lives in the small apartment. The best variant is the condominium. But even in this case you have only a single balcony or two.
However, you can not help but thinking about the idea to start own garden even if you are not a lucky owner of the large yard or the land on the outskirts of the city. Anyway, you would like to have the garden even if your opportunities are limited in the conditions of the large cities. There is a very comfortable variant. It means to grow the flowers, vegetables and fruits on... your balcony. At least, why now? Own territory, no evil neighbors who would like to taste the products of your hard labor, and no small kids who penetrate into your garden regularly and eat green apples, no dirt all over when it starts raining.
It seems that you have every condition to grow the greens, flowers, even fruits and vegetables on this small area. At the same time there are some disadvantages. Of course, you are not able to grow the peaches and massive bushes. However, these disadvantages are easily beaten if you know the peculiarities of the gardening on balcony.
On condition that you have to work on your small garden, in winter you can treat your dearest and nearest with healthy food; in spring you can be the first person who is able to present the flowers grown on your balcony; in summer you have a wonderful opportunity to relax under the large leaves of vine eating the fresh grapes just from the twigs. Even in fall you could be proud that your vegetables are not worse than your neighbor's ones which were planted on the soil. In addition, you can be sure that these products are the result of correct gardening, without forbidden pesticides and nitrates.
You would be glad to enjoy beauty of the indoor flowers which please your eyes with their bright yellow, purple, pink, white, blue colors and posh blooming. Whatever you are going to plant on your balcony, the palms or tomatoes, if it brings your relaxation and calmness, it is worth the candle.
